We have two types of products – Self-Drive and Premium – that offer two different types of travel experiences. In both cases, a travel specialist will be assigned to you, and together you will custom your trip to Portugal.

No. Across Portugal does not charge any fee for their services. We offer extremely competitive prices when compared to the rates you will find online, directly at the hotel website or at any booking site.

As you will be working with a travel specialist from day one, it will be easy to adapt all the plans and routes to your needs. We will make this trip enjoyable for everyone. If you’re going to travel with kids, please provide us their ages while fulfilling your travel inquiry.

Across Portugal puts together tailor-made tours based on your interests, ideas and budget. Please fill the travel inquiry and we will put together a proposal that includes hotels, transportation, and activities. Each planning is unique as well as its price, but we will keep your budget in mind at all times.

You can book your next trip to Portugal at any time. But you must keep in mind that if you are travelling at high season, we might face some availability issues for last minute bookings. By booking ahead you will benefit from early booking discounts.

Across Portugal is able to apply some discounts on your final price, especially the early-booking discount. We will always offer you the best deal.

You can use Paypal, VISA or bank transfer to pay for your trip. These options are safe and user-friendly.

Yes. Across Portugal will always be able to adjust the travel plan to your preferences. However, we strongly recommend you to approve the plan suggested by your travel specialist before booking your trip. Always have in mind that any changes can be performed until 10 working days prior to your arrival. After thar period, any changes may result in an extra fee due to supplier’s limited cancellation policies.

In order to cancel your trip you should request it to your travel specialist by e-mail. Our cancellation policy allows the cancelation of your trip free of charge and receive a full refund until 10 days prior to your arrival.

Yes! Transfers are included in the final price. We consider that it is very important to provide an easy and practical welcome service to everyone arriving in a foreign country.

Our pack includes a Portuguese SIM card that is offered to our clients. This SIM card includes access to Internet and national phone calls. By using this you will be able to access your online documentation and explore Portugal throughout the coordinates your travel specialist uploaded to your itinerary.

Everytime you find a challenging situation and you need our help, Across Portugal will be at a phone call distance. You can call our “Travel Assistance” service and our team will help at any situation.

If you are in an emergency situation, you can call 112, the European emergency number.

Check-in time vary from accommodation to accommodation. The standard check-in time is between 2PM and 3PM.  If you arrive earlier, you will be able to store your luggage at the hotel and go out to explore for a couple of hours. If you want to guarantee an early check in, you should ask your travel specialist how’s the best way to do it. Have in mind that this option may include the payment of the previous night, otherwise it will always be according to the hotel’s availability.

Portugal is well-known by a warm weather, influenced by the Mediterranean climate, and by a distinct wet season in winter.

The peak season in Portugal ranges between May and September - during this time you will find sunny weather perspectives. July and August are the hottest months, especially in the country areas. 

Even during spring and winter, the average temperature is around 10ºC/50ºF. But there is an upside to visit Portugal in those seasons: you will find competitive prices and less crowded places.
