It is time to unveil the historical center. You can visit the Lavradores Market, a colorful place where you can find the local flowers and delicious fruits. Make sure you see the sellers that still use the traditional Madeira costumes. Our local guide will take you on a fantastic trip through the Monte Cable car to Monte Palace Tropical Garden. In here, you will find one of the main attractions: the famous wicker basket sledges ride. End the day with a Madeira Wine Lodge Tour with tasting included.

Your journey around the island is about to start! Head to Cabo Girão, a popular viewpoint with breathtaking panoramic landscapes. It is a glass and steel platform built 580 meters above sea level, where you can see the impressive cliff right underneath your feet.
In this day you may also explore Curral das Freiras, a small community located right in the heart of the island. End your day by taking a ride on the famous panoramic glass elevator to Fajã dos Frades, an unique and unforgivable experience.

Head to Câmara de Lobos and explore a lovely fishing town and taste the famous Poncha or Nikita – two traditional alcoholic drinks with distilled alcohol made from sugar cane juice, honey, sugar, and lemon juice. You can go on to Ribeira Brava, a small town that is located between steep valleys. The name chosen to this parish – Wild River – comes from the fast river that come down the mountain when it rains. Your final destination is Calheta, but first our local guide will take you on a Levada walking tour, an ancient mechanism made by local to transport the water to the farming area. In the afternoon you can stroll around Estreito da Calheta.

Head to Ponta do Pargo, the westernmost point in the archipelago and enjoy the beautiful view and the blue sea. This viewpoint, situated 312 meters above the sea, has a charming lighthouse. The next stop is Porto Moniz, a fantastic sunbathing city that is well-known by its natural volcanic origin swimming pool. Enjoy this time and just relax! Come back to Calheta where you will spend the night.

It is time to get to know the northern part of the island. Start the day strolling around Serra de Água and take a walk in this beautiful region. You will find many waterfalls, flowers, gorgeous paths and trails. Carry on your trip to São Vicente and explore the fabulous grottos. The last stop is Santana, one of the most famous postcard pictures. The famous triangular houses with straw roofs are just unmissable. This small village will provide you a calm and relaxed night.

Machico is the next stop on your trip! In here you will have a Whale & Dolphin Watching activity waiting for you. After that, go straight to Faial and try the delicious fish gastronomy. Drive to Pico Ruivo, the highest peak in the island and one of the highest in Portugal.
